WARWICK, R.I.—For the second straight year, a student at Chariho Regional High School has won an art contest sponsored by Rhode Island's senior senator.

U.S. Sen. Jack Reed says senior Miri Kim again won his annual competition, this time with an acrylic painting called "Hope" that pictures boats docked in the port of Galilee. It will be displayed in the Democrat's Capitol Hill office for the next year.

Entries were judged by a volunteer panel. Second place went to a junior at Cranston East High School and third to a senior at Central Falls High School. Their works will hang in Reed's Cranston and Providences offices.

All the other entries will be on display at the Warwick Mall for a week starting Monday.
