Reed Statement on NRLB’s Proposed Voting Rules
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) issued the following statement on the National Labor Relations Board's (NLRB) proposal to modernize its existing rules and regulations governing union elections:
“Voting and the right to vote are at the heart of our democracy. The election rule proposed by the NRLB seeks to streamline the process and ensure the right to vote on whether or not to organize isn’t unnecessarily or unfairly delayed.”
