Reed Joins 28 U.S. Senators Urging Immediate Ceasefire in Middle East
WASHINGTON, DC – Today, U.S. Senator Jack Reed (D-RI), Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, joined a group of 28 Senators in calling for an immediate ceasefire agreement in Israel and the Palestinian territories to prevent further loss of life and further escalation of violence.
“To prevent any further loss of civilian life and to prevent further escalation of conflict in Israel and the Palestinian territories, we urge an immediate ceasefire,” the 29 Senators said in a joint statement.
