WASHINGTON, DC -- After an ISIS terrorist affiliate claimed responsibility for an attack at a popular concert venue complex near Moscow that left at least 60 dead and 145 hospitalized after assailants stormed the venue with guns and explosive devices, U.S. Senator Jack Reed (D-RI), the Chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, condemned the attack, stating:

"I strongly condemn ISIS's terrorist attack on the Russian people at the concert venue in Moscow.  We extend our sympathies and condolences to the victims and their families.  The terrorist network responsible for this attack should be held accountable.”
