WASHINGTON, DC – Today, after U.S. Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) joined Rhode Island students for the March For Our Lives demonstration in downtown Washington, D.C., he issued following statement:

It’s inspiring to see young people leading this march and pushing for progress toward sensible gun control.  Today was a big step forward, and now it’s up to all of us to continue the momentum and work for change.  Together, we can enhance school safety and prevent gun violence.  And we simply won’t give up.
