Senator Reed joined fellow Senate Armed Services Community Democrat Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) for a tour of Massachusetts locations to highlight the important contributions New England makes for the nation’s defense industry. The day began at General Dynamics in the Myles Standish Industrial Park in Taunton to tour and review the WIN-T, the U.S. Army’s battlefield communications network, which is produced at the facility.
The Senators then traveled to Lincoln Labs in at Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s (MIT) Lexington campus, where they toured various programs and technological efforts to enhance national security.
