Senator Reed visited Melrose School in Jamestown to celebrate the school’s federal designation as a 2018 National Blue Ribbon School. The U.S. Department of Education awarded the National Blue Ribbon to Jamestown Melrose for being an “Exemplary High Performing School.” Nationwide, just 349 schools earned National Blue Ribbon Schools status for 2018, including three in Rhode Island.
