Senator Reed helped unveil a new rescue vehicle (Ford Frontline Ambulance) for the Providence Fire Department. The truck was purchased with a using grant through FEMA’s Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) program. The award was for $974,419 and was for the purchase of the ambulance and a firetruck.
